m'living social pizza adventure

I can't pass up a pizza making/beer tasting adventure. Living Social threw a gathering that was great for meeting new people and having a good time with current friends. It was held at BoHo at Hollywood & Highland. Overall, great time.

As for the pizza making, it fell a little short if you already make pizzas on your own. The chef there gave a history lesson on where pizza originated from, and I summarize his summary, "Pizza originated in Italy where it was actually more like a flat bread. When they came over to America, we made it our own." Couldn't help but feel there is more to it.

Anyway, we did not get to make our own dough (understandable as it is a long process) and only one member from the audience got to toss the example dough. Otherwise, each person got a pizza box with perfectly shaped dough and then went through an assembly line of ingredients and added what they wanted.

Not the pizza making experience I wanted, but it just shows that you have to make your own experience!
